Penang International Airport offers a direct entryway for attendees traveling from or transiting through Malaysia's neighbours, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand. Alternatively, attendees may enter Malaysia via KLIA and from there, travel to Penang by rail, bus or ferry. Penang Island is 10-minute passenger ferry ride away from mainland Penang on the Malaysian Peninsula.
